EET for physiotherapists — a ten-session pass is recorded once, not ten times

A physiotherapist, psychologist or therapist in private practice has an IČO and often no trade licence at all. The recording act does not care — it cares whether the client pays you in person. Eetuj also handles the part of this field that is least obvious: prepaid packages.

What decides is how you are paid, not your trade or your turnover: anybody who takes money in person will probably be recording from 2027. Anybody who invoices and is paid only by transfer does not have to record. Our guide settles it in a minute.

You load a certificate from DIS+ once. Then on every payment taken in person you tap Record: seven fields go out, a POK comes back, and the receipt can be printed or e-mailed. Without signal the sale is stored and sends itself as soon as the phone reconnects.

What people ask

Does a physiotherapist or psychologist have to record sales?

For contact payments, yes. Providing health services and psychological practice are business under special statutes; a trade licence is neither a condition of recording nor an exemption from it.

A client buys a pass for ten sessions. When do I record it?

When you sell the pass, because it is a payment to be drawn down later under § 4(2). The individual sessions the client draws from the pass are not recorded again.

Insurer-funded therapy and direct payment together?

The insurer pays by transfer against a statement, which is not a contact payment. A co-payment or a direct payment made by the client in your rooms is a recorded sale.

Prepare in your own time

The app is out now. Certificates will be issued from 1 November 2026 at the earliest, the act takes effect on 1 January 2027 and full operation starts on 1 February 2027. Try everything out well in advance.
